A: Presto’s show usually runs about 45 minutes.
Q: How much does it cost to bring Presto to my library?
A: Final costs depends on your location, the number of kids, and other factors, but Presto’s fee starts at $225.
Q: What does Presto need the day of the show?
A: Presto brings everything he needs for his show (including a sound system), and requires the following:
1. A parking space as close to the performance space as possible for loading/unloading props.
2. An electrical outlet
3. An audience!
Q: Does Presto perform outdoors?
A: Weather here in the northwest can be unpredictable! While outdoor performance areas are never ideal for performances (wind, noise, and other distractions for kids) Presto can perform his “Just-for-Fun” magic shows outdoors. There is an additional cost of $35 for these shows, to provide a larger sound system and outdoor props. In addition Presto highly recommends a covered performance area.
Q: Does Presto offer any discounts?
A: Yes! Presto offer a discount for multiple performances booked on the same day at the same location.
Q: How much time does Presto need to setup?
A: Presto arrives 45-60 minutes prior to the start of the show just to make sure there’s plenty of time to setup before patrons arrive! Actual setup time is 20 minutes. The performance room or area must be closed to patrons during setup/take down time.
Q: What age group is Presto’s show designed for?
A: While children of all ages may enjoy the show, Presto’s show is specifically designed for kids ages 3-8. Kids 2 and under must be seated with a parent.
Q: Does Presto perform outside the Portland area?
A: Yes, Presto performs all over the northwest, including Oregon, Washington, Idaho, Wyoming, and California. For performances outside the Portland area, additional travel/lodging allowances are required.
